Avascent Group Staff Contribute to Haitian Relief


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - March 4, 2010) - Leading strategy and management consulting firm, The Avascent Group, announced today that its employees, with a company match to AmeriCares (www.americares.com), have contributed close to $13,000 to Haitian earthquake victims. 

"The devastation and human suffering sustained by Haiti in the wake of the earthquake touched all of us," said Avascent president Steve Irwin. "I am heartened and gratified by the generosity of the Avascent employees who led this effort to help the Haitian people," Irwin continued.

The combined contributions will help address immediate needs for food, medical care, shelter and basic services. In addition, the assistance will help the Haitian people begin to rebuild their country after the terrible events of January.
