Avatier Unveils Revolutionary Approach to SSO at HDI

Unifying SSO Into One IGA Solution, Planned Product Goes Well Beyond Today's Solutions

SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 25, 2014) - Avatier Corp., a leader in risk-driven identity management software, today announced that Avatier CEO and Chairman Nelson Cicchitto will outline the company's new Avatier SSO product in a presentation "SSO and Password Management Come Together" at the HDI 2014 Conference and Expo, during the Solutions Spotlight on the Expo floor on Thursday, April 3 at 12:55 PM EDT. The conference runs from April 1 through April 4 in the Gaylord Palms Hotel.

In the presentation, Mr. Cicchitto will discuss how SSO, password management and identity and access management can come together for one unified identity governance and administration (IGA) solution. "Our vision is to unify SSO into one complete IGA solution, that is a huge step beyond anything that exists today," Cicchitto explains. "We want you to leverage your enterprise directory for SSO, not copy it in the cloud. That's wasting time and money."

"This is an important addition to our new partnerships with companies like LANDESK," Cicchitto added. "We will be leveraging their reach to increase our ability to execute in the market."

The Avatier SSO approach will offer significant corporate compliance; a high level of risk assessment; extraordinary IT control; and exceptional business user experience and ease of use. "We will be packing a lot of unique features into this product," Cicchitto added. "This presentation is going to surprise people."

In one of the most educational panels of the conference, Avatier will be showcasing two of the company's most experienced customers. ESPN and Cox Enterprises will be sharing some exceptional service desk practices in Session 310 "ESPN and Cox Enterprises Share Their Service Desk Playbooks". The panel, moderated by Avatier CEO Nelson Cicchitto, includes Cynthia Ruel, ESPN Service Portfolio Manager and Vic Chandar, Senior Manager of Client Operations for Cox Enterprises Inc. The interactive session will reveal ways the panelists leverage self-service password reset and password management to improve their business processes and IT security -- while decreasing the burden on their service desk.

Cynthia Ruel is a seventeen-year veteran of application training and manages ESPN's support desk and mobile technology portfolio. She is certified in ITIL v3 Foundation and has been an active HDI leader for many years.

Vic Chandar provides strategic leadership and direction for the Customer Support Center, Client Support Group, and Network Operations Center administration teams at Cox Enterprises Inc. Prior to Cox, Vic spent five years at Deloitte Consulting.

The session will be held on Wednesday, April 2 from 3PM to 4PM EDT in the Sarasota meeting room of the Gaylord Plaza.

In the company's booth (#424 in the Expo Hall), Avatier executives will be discussing Single Sign-On and self-service password management, along with new features in their recently released AIMS 9.5 product suite. Attendees are encouraged to schedule a "sneak peak" demonstration of both the SSO product and AIMS 9.5. Demonstrations are limited and conference attendees are encouraged to make reservations in advance by emailing sales@avatier.com to make an appointment.

Avatier is providing incentives the minute conference attendees check in to the Gaylord Plaza. At registration, conference attendees should check their HDI Conference Bag for an Avatier guitar pick. By bringing the pick to the Avatier booth, they may be the "Rock Star" who wins an iPad mini.

Finally, the company will also be offering a VIP backstage pass to attend an Avatier private dinner of gourmet food and wines the evening of April 2nd. Space is limited so attendees must reserve seats by sending an email request to events@avatier.com
