Avaya Names Jeremy Butt to Lead Avaya Worldwide Channels

BASKING RIDGE, NJ--(Marketwire - June 17, 2008) - Avaya, a leading global provider of

that Jeremy Butt has joined the company as vice president of Worldwide
Channels. Butt will lead the company's channel sales organization
developing strategies and programs for more than 3400 system integrators,
service providers, distributors, value-added resellers and solutions
providers.

Butt brings substantial experience and success in building channel programs
to Avaya. He recently served as vice president of worldwide channels for
Motorola's enterprise mobility business. At Motorola, he acquired a record
of successes in evolving channel programs: first, within international
regions and then on a global basis. He has also held executive tenures at
WatchGuard Technologies, Cisco Systems, and Hayes Microcomputer Products.
