Aveda Transportation and Energy Services Announces A New President and CEO


CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 1, 2012) - Aveda Transportation and Energy Services ("Aveda" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:AVE), a leading provider of oilfield hauling services and equipment rentals to the energy industry, today announced the appointment of Kevin Roycraft as Aveda's President and Chief Executive Officer effective November 26, 2012.

Kevin brings 20 years of transportation industry expertise to Aveda. Most recently serving as Vice-President of Operations for Liquid Transport Corp ("LTC") out of Indianapolis, IN. In his role at LTC, Kevin was responsible for all aspects of profit and performance for one of North America's largest bulk chemical and oil transportation companies. Before being promoted to Vice-President of Operations, Kevin served LTC as Director of Business Development, handling acquisitions and franchise expansion.

A graduate of Purdue University, with a degree in Organizational Leadership, Kevin began his transportation career working in LTL Operations and Sales for Roadway Express. Later joining Watkins Motorlines and opening start-up operations in Green Bay, WI, before moving on to manage their terminal in St. Louis, MO.
