Aveta Business Institute Announces Successful Six Sigma Online Server Upgrade

Aveta Business Institute's Online Six Sigma Training Facility, Six Sigma Online, Performed a Major System Upgrade to Improve Student Experience

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwire - March 24, 2011) - Throughout the month of February, several performance enhancements were successfully completed on the Aveta Business Institute's Six Sigma Online website, Six Sigma Online is the leader in online six sigma training and certification. In addition to standard memory upgrades, all databases were converted to an InnoDB format. This format was changed in order to enhance performance site-wide. All of the improvements were meant to further reinforce the already efficient Learning Management System.

"We're always a little disappointed when we have to shut down our website in order to improve it, but we know it's in the best interest of everyone involved," stated Craig Setter, president of Aveta Business Institute. He continued, "We would like to thank all of our 6 sigma students for their understanding and apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused them." Aveta is happy to report that the website was only down for 2 evenings/early mornings for about 15 minutes to accommodate the improvements.
