Avid Technology Selects Omniture to Optimize the Online User Experience Across 20 International Sites

The World Leader in Digital Media Production Will Use Omniture to Gain the Customer Insight Needed to Coordinate Worldwide Online Initiatives

(NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimization software, today announced that Avid Technology, the world leader in digital media creation, management, and distribution solutions, has selected Omniture to measure visitor behavior across its network of Web sites to ensure effective engagement to a diverse audience. Using Omniture SiteCatalyst® Web analytics, Avid will have the ability to optimize each of its 20 international sites, and gain the information they need to coordinate worldwide online initiatives.
