Avid to Host Investor Day

TEWKSBURY, MA--(Marketwire - October 17, 2008) - Avid Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVID) today announced that it will host an Investor Day meeting on Monday, October 27, 2008 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. Investor Day will offer the investor community an opportunity to learn more about Avid's products and business strategy, and to meet members of Avid's executive team. Presentations are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time and conclude by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
