Avista Names Marian Durkin as Corporate Secretary

SPOKANE, WA--(Marketwired - May 16, 2016) -  Avista Corp. (NYSE: AVA) today announced that Marian Durkin has been named as Corporate Secretary. She will retain her current responsibilities as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.

Durkin joined Avista Corp in 2005. Prior to that, she was Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for United Airlines in Chicago. Her experience also includes 18 years with the Minneapolis law firm of Briggs and Morgan, P.A.
