Avotus Announces James P. Martino as New CEO

Strategic Transition Builds Upon Customer Satisfaction Gains

OAKLAND, NJ--(Marketwired - Mar 20, 2014) -  Avotus Corporation, a leading provider of Intelligent Communications Management (ICM) solutions, announced today that James Martino has been named as the company's new Chief Executive Officer. Formerly Global Vice President of Operations and Customer Relations, the move builds upon service performance and customer satisfaction gains the company has achieved under Mr. Martino's leadership, since he joined in 2011. The Board sees this promotion as a testament to the progress James and the team have made in significantly improving customer satisfaction. His proven leadership and deep industry experience gives the Board the confidence that Avotus will continue its commitment to growth and customer relationships.

Mr. Martino is an experienced telecom industry executive with a history of success. In November of 2001, Mr. Martino founded Last Mile Connections and served as CEO until 2007. Prior to that he managed a $2.8 billion P&L for Global Crossing, served as a Senior Vice President for e.spire Communications, General Manager for ACSI Network Technologies and Director of National Operations for Teleport Communications Group (currently AT&T Local Services). His credible experience as a telecommunication's executive is evidenced by a proven track record of growth and repeat financings. He has either personally led or contributed to obtaining financings in excess of one billion dollars.

Mr. Martino takes the helm at Avotus as the company is experiencing strong positive feedback from its 2013 customer satisfaction survey program. Surveys found that 98% of Avotus customers are satisfied with the ICM Usage Management Helpdesk, a product the company has been distributing through partners for over 30 years. More than 83% are satisfied with the ICM Wireless Helpdesk experience, which provides concierge wireless support services to an enterprise's employees. Over 90% of ICM clients report that they would recommend Avotus products to their colleagues. Intelligent Communications Management (ICM) includes; Invoice Management, Inventory Management, Order Management, e-Sourcing, Rate Plan Optimization, Voice Usage Management and Wireless Helpdesk.
