Award-winning portfolio manager Dana Love joins Sentry Investments to lead global equity team

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 4, 2012) - Sentry Investments ("Sentry") has expanded its equity capabilities by adding global investment expert Dana Love to its newly created global equity team. Mr. Love joins Sentry as Vice-President and Senior Portfolio Manager.

Mr. Love will act as lead portfolio manager of Sentry Global Growth and Income Fund and Sentry Global Growth and Income Class. The investment objective of the Funds is to provide consistent income and capital appreciation by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of global equities.

Mr. Love has been in the financial services industry since 1993 and has over 10 years' experience analyzing and managing global equity securities. Prior to joining Sentry, Mr. Love was head of global equities and a vice-president for Invesco Trimark Ltd., responsible for overseeing approximately $7 billion in global equity assets, including directly managing approximately $2.5 billion in assets as portfolio manager of Trimark Fund. Mr. Love has an MSc in Finance from the London Business School and a BA in Sociology from the University of Waterloo. He held the Certified Financial Planner designation from 1995 to 2002 and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
