The Latest Version of the Awareness Social Marketing Hub Broadens Support for Multiple Social Networks, Adds Campaign Management and More Advanced Channel Customization

Some new features included in the latest version include support for additional channels, campaign management and more sophisticated channel customizations for more targeted messaging across social sites.

Campaign Management and Reporting

Hub users are already able to track and report against all content posted through the hub across multiple social channels. With the new Campaign Management functionality included within the latest version of the Hub, marketers are now also able to group content into specific social media campaigns, resulting in the ability to:

  • Tie social media campaigns to traditional marketing campaigns for more holistic reporting and measurement
  • Aggregate, track and engage with all comments and activity around not just individual content, but entire social media campaigns

New Social Media Channels

The Awareness Social Marketing Hub is continuously adding new channels to help marketers manage their presences across their multiple social networks. Along with the ability to publish to Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, WordPress, foursquare, Facebook Places, and branded online communities, Awareness has added a new FlexChannel and support for SlideShare.

  • FlexChannel
    • The new FlexChannel provides the ability to publish content to any system that accepts publication via email, opening up a large number of new channels to Hub users. This includes some of the hottest social channels today including Ping.FM, Tumblr, Posterous, Blogger, Yammer,, Picasa, twitpic, Photobucket, and many more. Marketers can now publish content to one or dozens of these channels with the one-step Hub publication process. 
  • SlideShare Support
    • The new SlideShare channel allows marketers to easily upload and publish their presentations and documents to the largest community for sharing presentations.

Channel Customizations

The ability to customize messages for different audiences across social networking channels is an important piece of any social media marketing campaign. The latest version of the Awareness Social Marketing Hub gives enterprise marketers more sophisticated publication options for their most important channels. Some examples of this new Channel Customization feature include:

  • Customizable Facebook posts include the ability to add a special title, body, summary text, and tab and album options allowing marketers to get more specific about the content they are publishing
  • From within Flickr, marketers can now specify more details around their Flickr posts, including set information for improved SEO and content management
