AWSL Subsidiary Contracted to Carry Out Feasibility Study for GreenPower at the Sundridge Lagoon - Village of Sundridge, Ontario

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - June 8, 2009) - Atlantic Wind & Solar Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AWSL) is pleased to announce that the community of Sundridge, Ontario, has contraced AWSL's Canadian subsidiary, Hybridyne Power Systems Canada Inc. (HPS), to carry out a Feasibility Study and to advise on the practical and economic feasibilty of constructing what may be the first Renewable Energy-powered municipal sewage plant. The Company's engineering and technical staff are advancing the Sundridge Lagoon Project to complete the study and make its recomendations to the municipality as quickly as possible.

The Feasibility Study contract is the result of previous meetings and discussions with the Sundridge Council regarding the propects of using, in the interests of economics and the environment, renewable Green Power at the municipality's Sewage Lagoon Project.
