AYKROYD ACQUIRES LIQUOR RIGHTS

Attention: Arts/Entertainment Editor, Business/Financial Editor, Food/Beverage Editor, News Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 15, 2005) - Dan Aykroyd is expanding his business activities. The Blues Brother and Ghostbuster is also a founding Director of House of Blues Entertainment Inc. which is North America's third largest purveyor of live entertainment. Through friend U.S. entrepreneur J.P. Dejoria, Aykroyd has acquired the rights to bring the Patron Spirits line into Canada.

Patron 'Simply Perfect' Tequila is one of America's top selling premium beverages and Aykroyd states "I'm delighted to participate in this opportunity bringing Canadians a wonderful new beverage already being enjoyed by people in the U.S.".

Dan has planned on promoting the beverage through appearing in an on-air ad campaign but the Canadian Radio and Television Commission rejected the commercial from the Liquor Control Board of Ontario. He was to be featured in their summer cocktails promotion. Aykroyd while disappointed in the CRTC's decision to reject his participation is none the less excited about his collaboration with Patron. The CRTC's view is that his presence in a commercial "might cause people to drink more". Aykroyd thought it "ludicrous".
