AZCAR Awarded Prominent Role in Analog to Digital Conversion Project for Mission Broadcasting Inc.

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 9, 2005) - Stephen Pumple, President & CEO, AZCAR Technologies Incorporated, (TSX:AZZ) is pleased to announce that Mission Broadcasting has selected AZCAR USA Inc. to spearhead outside-plant analog to digital transmission conversion for 11 Mission Broadcasting television stations. The project is already underway with a Project Plan delivered in March and conversion of Mission's stations in the top 100 markets to be completed later in the year.

AZCAR has subcontracted the structural component of the project to the Morrison Hershfield Corporation as much of the work involves review and strengthening of Mission's towers, as well as adding new antennae and transmission lines to support digital transmission.

"This is another example of the success of developing longer-term strategic and supportive alliances with our clients," said Pumple, "and confirms that AZCAR can provide clients a wide range of support, as and when they need it. This project is important to Mission and we will see that they meet their goals."

Mission Chief Operating Officer Dennis Thatcher commented that, "Conversion of our stations to full power digital transmission is a major and important undertaking for our company. In contracting with AZCAR we have made a commitment to carry out the conversion in the most efficient way possible.
