May 2015 OPTIC was presented for the first time, showcasing a stunning assortment of leading photographers and new media creators including: Art Wolfe, National Geographic Photographers; Ralph Lee Hopkins, Susan Seubert, Bob Krist, Michael Melford, and Dan Westergren and many more. As this year's conference nears, prominent photographers are flocking to be part of OPTIC, including Michael Kenna, Flip Nicklin, Jay Dickman, Krista Rossow, Ami Vitale and more, which will ensure its rightful place as the most preeminent outdoor-travel photography conference ever offered.
The conference will take place in The New Yorker Hotel, conveniently situated one block away from B&H Photo's legendary NYC SuperStore, and includes a trade show, hands-on and one-on-one experience, photo walks, parties, and sunset cruises lead by National Geographic Photographers.
OPTIC 2016 is being formatted and supported by the photography industry and, in an unprecedented way, is being offered free of charge to the public! Those who can't make it to New York City can watch the LIVE webcast of the entire first two days' program for free on the OPTIC website.
