Stanbridge College's Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Program Receives Accreditation From the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 24, 2014) - Stanbridge College has announced its Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (RN-BSN) program received accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through December 31, 2019. The program offers a pathway for registered nurses with an Associate of Science in Nursing to complete their bachelor's degree in 21 months.

CCNE ensures the quality and integrity of baccalaureate, graduate, and residency programs in nursing.

The Stanbridge College Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing program is offered online with a two-day residency. The curriculum consists of nursing and general education courses and focuses on four fundamental areas: Pathophysiology, Advanced Physical Assessment, Evidence-Based Practice, and Healthcare Informatics. The program offers students a matriculation pathway to its Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with specializations in Nursing Education or Nursing Executive allowing students to prepare for educator or administrative careers.

Students take online programs at Stanbridge through the award-winning Edverum™ online learning platform. In 2013, Stanbridge College received the Web Marketing Association Outstanding Website WebAward for Edverum and its achievement in web development in the category of education.

In addition to the bachelor and master's degrees, Stanbridge College's School of Nursing offers an Associate of Science in Nursing degree program and Diploma in Vocational Nursing. These programs prepare students to sit for professional licensure. Its Vocational Nursing program has a 92% average NCLEX-PN exam pass rate from 2007 to 2013.
