Back to the Future: Washington Readies for BIO 2011 International Industry Conference, June 27-30, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - Jun 24, 2011) - Reported by Annette Kreuger, Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) returns to Washington, D.C., next week for the 2011 BIO International Convention, being held June 27-30 at the Washington Convention Center. This is where it all began, and the conference, like the industry itself, has come a long way from when it was first held in 1987 in D.C., with a mere 155 in attendance.

One of the big names on tap for 2011 is Tony Blair, the former prime minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Blair will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon sponsored by Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) (New Brunswick, New Jersey) on Tuesday, June 28. Industrial Info will be reporting live from Washington throughout the conference.
