Back-to-School Scholarships From American College of Education Total $348,000

New Students Eligible for Fall Semester Tuition Grant

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Aug 8, 2011) - The cost of earning a master's degree from the American College of Education is now more affordable than ever. Teachers across the country who begin one of the college's online master's degree programs during the Fall semester beginning September 5th will earn a $580 Back-to-School Scholarship to apply towards their tuition. Overall, a total of $348,000 in scholarships is guaranteed.

The scholarships, available to new American College of Education students who apply and are accepted, are another of the college's endeavors to make it affordable and convenient for educators everywhere to begin work on their master's degree immediately. American College of Education graduates who begin their second master's degree or dual degree program on September 5th are also eligible to receive a $580 tuition grant. The admissions deadline for all students is August 29th.

Based on a 2010 survey, 98% of American College of Education students graduated debt free, noting that the affordable tuition at ACE had the most significant impact on their successful program completion.

Teachers will learn from leading educators, study the most current research and receive the tools to apply proven methods in their own classrooms. Programs available include: M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with ESL Specialization, M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with Bilingual Specialization, M.Ed. in Educational Technology, Educational Leadership Dual Degree Program and Curriculum and Instruction Dual Degree. In addition, the following programs with concentrations are also available: M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a Sally Ride Science Teaching Concentration, M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a Louisa Moats Literacy Instruction Concentration, M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a K-6 Common Core Mathematics Standards Concentration, and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a Digital Learning and Teaching Concentration.

Master's degree programs can be completed in only 18 months with no G.R.E. requirement and tuition as low as $6,370 with scholarship applied.
