Backbase Positioned in the Niche Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Horizontal Portals

Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - September 9, 2010) -  Backbase, a developer of next generation portal solutions, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Niche quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Horizontal Portals.[1]

Gartner positions vendors in the "Niche" quadrant based on completeness of vision and their ability to execute on that vision.
