Baffinland Director Resigns

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 8, 2010) - Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation (TSX:BIM) ("Baffinland" or the "Company") announces that Mr. Gordon A. McCreary, director of the Company, has resigned effective at the close of business on Friday, November 5. Mr. McCreary served as the President and Chief Executive of the Company until March 2010.

Richard (Bo) McCloskey, the Chairman of the Company, stated: "On behalf of the board of directors of Baffinland, I would like to thank Gord for his tireless efforts and dedication to the Company and its Mary River Project. Gord was instrumental in laying the foundation towards the advancement of the Mary River Property to development."
