Bag Lady Promotions ConnectHER Influential Event Honors Actress and MOMpreneur, Ali Landry

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 8, 2012) - Bag Lady Promotions and HerReview, referred to amongst the blogger community as BLP and HR, have combined forces under CEO Laura Medina-Filipowicz to host the 3rd annual BLP ConnectHER Event honoring actress Ali Landry with the MOMpreneur of the Year Award.

BLP ConnectHER is an all day interactive Five-Star Boutique Event for Women Entrepreneurs, Brands, Businesses, PR/Marketing Firms and Social Media Influencers. The event will be hosted by Donna Tetreault, NBC/CNN reporter and editor of SuperMommyNot.com, at Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica on September 30, 2012.

The event will culminate with guests walking down the pink carpet to meet the media. Then attendees are invited to visit the VIP Lounge, a Meet & Greet with top influencers, and the Marketplace. The VIP lounge allows attendees and their brands to interact directly with highly respected panelists and speakers.

The BLP ConnectHER Event aims to unite like-minded women and provide them with the necessary tools to further their entrepreneurial endeavors. BLP ConnectHER has elected to honor actress Ali Landry with the MOMpreneur of the Year Award because of her continued support in the evolution of MOMpreneurs through her various business ventures including her latest project, SpokesMoms.com. This website allows parents to write product reviews from their unique perspective, communicate with manufacturers and view the collective product reviews from other retail sites.

Laura Medina-Filipowicz, founder of the BLP ConnectHER Event, gained her reputation as an influential Latina blogger amongst the female community. She was the first in her family to attend university and graduate earning her BA in Communicative Disorders. Medina-Filipowicz is known by many as the most well-respected connector in Los Angeles due to her relationships with other bloggers and MOMpreneurs. She has been featured in La Cosmopolatina, Red Tricycle and MomsLA. Medina-Filipowicz has also spoken on several panels including the Entrepreneurship for Moms panel alongside Jessica Alba and previous ConnectHER panels.
