NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - May 25, 2011) - TECHmunch -- the traveling food blogger conference produced by BakeSpace.com -- is returning to New York City on Saturday, June 11th to provide Big Apple food bloggers with the tools they need to create great content, build a loyal audience and turn their passion into profit.
The traveling conference made its New York debut in 2010, and is returning this year as part of Internet Week New York (June 6-13). The 2011 edition of TECHmunch NYC will be held from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm at Astor Center (399 Lafayette St. at East 4th, near NYU), and will be followed by a reception where local food bloggers can network with one-another and the all-star lineup of TECHmunch speakers.
TECHmunch NYC will feature some of New York's most accomplished culinary and digital media experts. Each panel and workshop will provide hands-on tools and tactics that food bloggers can apply from day-one. The format is fun, fast-paced and no-nonsense.
A full agenda and list of speakers is available at:
"Our goal is to give local food bloggers the ingredients they need to succeed," said TECHmunch Producer and BakeSpace.com Founder Babette Pepaj. "We don't think food bloggers should have to travel far and spend a fortune to attend a conference all their own. We can't wait to serve up TECHmunch with a style befitting the 'Big Apple.'"
Tickets for the TECHmunch NYC conference and networking reception may be purchased at http://TmNYC2011.eventbrite.com.
Local production support is provided by Nichelle Stephens of New York-based Cupcakes Take The Cake (http://cupcakestakethecake.blogspot.com). TECHmunch NYC is sponsored by Chobani Yogurt, The Harvard Common Press and KitchenAid.
The next TECHmunch food blogger conference will be held July 24th in Boston at Boston University.
