LENEXA, KS--(Marketwired - Oct 14, 2013) - Balance Innovations has added loss prevention industry expert Keith Aubele to its team as senior advisor. Aubele will work with the company to enhance the loss prevention focus of its solutions.
Aubele is president and CEO of Retail Loss Prevention Group, a consulting practice he formed after a long career with high-profile retailers such as Walmart and The Home Depot. While at Wal-Mart, Keith received an in-field promotion by founder Sam Walton and went on to hold a number of positions in the retailer's loss prevention department, including divisional director of loss prevention. At The Home Depot, he managed a budget in excess of $100 million and was responsible for more than 1,000 members of management and 1,500 associates as the company's corporate vice president of loss prevention.
Aubele developed the current professional certification program Loss Prevention Professional (LPP) and holds the designation of Certified Protection Professional (CPP), awarded by ASIS International. He also serves as the Chairman of the ASIS International Retail Council.
