BancVue Wins Four MarCom Gold Awards

Recognition Highlights Continued Excellence in Marketing and Public Relations

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - Nov 20, 2014) - BancVue ®, a provider of innovative products, world-class marketing, and data driven consulting solutions to community financial institutions nationwide, took home four Gold MarCom awards for 2014 campaigns.

The awards are given by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP) to recognize companies exhibiting excellence in the marketing and communications fields. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

AMCP received more than 6,000 entries from across the United States, Canada, and 15 other countries. BancVue received four Gold MarCom awards in the following categories:

  • Promotional/Marketing Materials: BancVue was honored for its promotional materials in the "Financial Literacy with Kasasa" campaign, in partnership with Dave Ramsey. Marketing materials supporting the campaign spoke to the value of Kasasa's free checking accounts and incorporated Dave Ramsey's message of financial health. Hundreds of community bank and credit union branches across the nation leveraged the campaign to complement their retail experience.
  • Integrated Marketing: BancVue was honored for its integrated marketing in the "Financial Literacy with Kasasa" campaign, in partnership with Dave Ramsey. The multi-channel marketing strategy, presented by Kasasa financial community institutions, integrated a social media sweepstakes offering consumers a cash emergency fund and a trip to attend a Dave Ramsey class, in-branch account opening incentives, ads on Dave Ramsey's online show, radio ads in local markets, and financial literacy PR campaigns for local market media coverage.
  • Research/Study: BancVue was honored for its 2013 Consumer Banking Insights Study. BancVue partnered with Harris Interactive to identify consumer banking behavior and perceptions and then released the results in a strategic PR campaign. The campaign garnered more than 80,586,783 media impressions nationwide, including an exclusive on CNBC as well as coverage in top national consumer and trade publications.
  • Mobile & Web-Based Technology/Mobile App: BancVue was honored for the development of PiggyBot, a free virtual piggybank allowance app that teaches children how to spend, save, and share money wisely. Piggybot has been downloaded more than 65,000 times. It has a five-star rating on the iTunes App Store and was recognized by USA Today as a top app that can make parenting easier.
