Bank of America Merrill Lynch Partners With TradeTech to Bring Industry Buy Side Only Head Trader Think Tank

35 Buy Side Head Traders Discuss Future of Equity Trading

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 4, 2011) - Bank of America Merrill Lynch (NYSE: BAC) is sponsoring the Buy Side Only Head Trader Think Tank at TradeTech USA 2011 (TradeTech is produced by Worldwide Business Research), the premier global event for institutional equity trading. The Think Tank which is part of the TradeTech conference will take place on March 1, 2011, from 2:10 - 3:40 p.m. at Pier Sixty in New York City's Chelsea Piers.

For the fourth year in a row, Bank of America Merrill Lynch has partnered with TradeTech to offer this exclusive session to head traders from long-only asset managers and hedge funds. The Think Tank is an invite-only session reserved for only 35 buy side head traders. The chairperson of the Think Tank, Priya Bhupathi, Head of New York Execution Services, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, will introduce topics and discussion points to the participants, while three buy side roundtable moderators will facilitate small group discussion. The roundtable moderators are Jonathan Clark, Head of Fundamental Equity Trading, Americas, BlackRock; Frank Loughlin, Co-Head of Americas Equity Trading, AllianceBernstein; and Jason McLean, Director of Trading, Iridian Asset Management.

The Think Tank is consistently cited as most buy side traders' favorite part of TradeTech.
