SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - March 15, 2010) - Infoblox Inc. today announced that Baptist Healthcare System Inc. of Kentucky has selected and deployed Infoblox appliances to deliver highly reliable and manageable domain name system (DNS), IP address assignment (DHCP) and IP address management (IPAM) services. Baptist is one of the largest not-for-profit-healthcare systems in Kentucky with five hospitals in Louisville, Lexington, Paducah, Corbin and La Grange.

Baptist purchased 12 appliances total: two Infoblox-550 appliances for each hospital and two Infoblox-1050s for their main datacenter, serving as Grid masters. All are linked together and managed as a unified system using Infoblox Grid technology.
