Barberán to Showcase LED Curing From Phoseon Technology Using New Innovative Clear Coat From Sherwin-Williams

HILLSBORO, OR--(Marketwired - May 17, 2016) - Barberán will demonstrate Phoseon's LED curing solutions with optimized coatings from Sherwin-Williams at the upcoming Xylexpo exhibition for woodworking (Hall 1 - Stand G02 G10 M01). Phoseon's FireJet™ FJ200 light sources are utilized for the full cure LED clear coating, and the FireEdge™ FE200 light sources will be used for the top coat finish in-line on Barberán's Jetmaster digital printing and finishing line.

The Barberán digital printing machine Jetmaster Compact offers the ability to create a wood-grain look on diverse materials with UV LED and inkjet printing. Barberán utilizes Phoseon's UV LED light sources to increase the speed and improve the quality of print. By using a combination LED full-cure lamps and pinning from Phoseon, the realistic 'look' and the high productions capacities lead to a true industrial solution. The new innovative clear coat technology from Sherwin-Williams makes it possible to implement LED throughout the entire curing line, allowing for even more savings and quality improvements than before enabling significant return on the investment.

Xylexpo is the 25th Biennial world exhibition for woodworking technology and components for the furniture industry, taking place in Milan, Italy 24-28 May.
