Barber & Banker Serving as Sponsor for Revolutions: Spinning for Healthcare Fundraiser

ANCHORAGE, AK--(Marketwired - Dec 12, 2013) - The Alaska injury attorneys at Barber & Banker have been representing clients who were wrongfully injured in car accidents, trucking accidents, drunk driving accidents, construction accidents and in many other types of incidents for several years. The firm has always followed an ideal that involves giving back to the community, and the attorneys at Barber & Banker have decided to serve as sponsors for a charitable event that will be held in Anchorage in February.

The event, known as Revolutions: Spinning for Healthcare, is coordinated by a charitable organization known as Anchorage Project Access. This charity serves the interests of what according to its Web site are thousands of Alaskans who currently do not have health insurance. Anchorage Project Access helps to connect people who cannot afford health insurance or medical care with medical care providers who have volunteered to help people in need who qualify for this program. To date, more than 500 care providers including doctors, hospitals, therapists and imaging centers have volunteered their time to this cause.

In an effort to continue to raise the funds needed to operate Anchorage Project Access, the entity is holding an event known as Revolutions: Spinning for Healthcare on Saturday, February 1, 2014. The event includes a bike-spinning relay, and both teams and individuals can sign up to take part in the event. Those interested can donate to the cause and sponsor the event, which will be held at the Anchorage 5^th Avenue Mall.
