Barnabus Energy Announces New Appointments to Board

SOLANA BEACH, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 15, 2006 -- Barnabus Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: BBSE) wishes to announce the appointment of two highly qualified senior executives as independent directors to its Board of Directors. The appointments are effective immediately and include: Andrew M. Leitch, Chairman of the Audit Committee; and E. Douglas Ward, who will head up the Governance Committee.

Mr. Leitch's career spans 28 years in public accounting, including 20 years as a partner in Deloitte & Touche, and as a senior executive in private business. He was deeply involved in international business development, serving as Vice Chairman of Deloitte's Hong Kong operation and Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for all of Asia. Mr. Leitch has lived and worked in Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong prior to retiring from public practice and relocated to San Diego. This international experience will be invaluable to Barnabus as the Company expands its operations in Asia, Europe and other locations. Mr. Leitch currently serves as an independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of three companies trading on NASDAQ, including Wireless Facilities, Blackbaud and Aldila, Inc.

Mr. Ward is a Managing Director of Irvine Associates, Inc., a privately held corporate finance company. Over the past few years he has arranged various credit facilities for a broad spectrum of both high, middle and low technology companies. He has also provided strategic and operational direction to a diverse collection of companies. Previously he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Astrotech International Corporation, which had three operating companies and a start-up commercial space venture. He was Vice President and General Manager, Executive Vice President, and President of five commercial and aerospace companies, including: Aerojet Nuclear Systems, Aerojet Surface Effects Ships, Graver Tank & Manufacturing, Johnston Pump and General Valve. He has served on many boards of private and public companies, foreign companies and banks.
