Barnabus Energy Secures Agreement to Build Suncone Solar Collector

CARLSBAD, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 7, 2005 -- Barnabus Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: BBSE) announced today that it has secured the services of HYTEC Engineering, Inc. to design and build the first commercial prototype of the Suncone solar collection system. Dr. Melvin Prueitt, inventor of Suncone, said: "HYTEC has a proven track record of providing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. I look forward to working with their team to create an efficient, robust and elegant solar energy generator."

HYTEC, headquartered in Los Alamos and with offices in Washington, D.C. and Boulder, Colorado, is a 25-person engineering firm whose customers have included the Naval Research Laboratory, NASA, CalTech and MIT amongst others. The group has particular expertise in advanced composites, electro-mechanical and thermo-mechanical systems, prototype development, and product performance testing.

Their assignment is to design a solar power generator that is strong, lightweight, cost-efficient, and deployable worldwide. HYTEC has the personnel and the expertise to deliver on our assignment." Efforts have commenced at the Los Alamos facility and estimates are for approximately six months to completion during which time management will provide further updates.
