Barnaby Jones NYC Launches "Everybody Wants a BJ" Campaign on Kickstarter

Early Brand Ambassadors Include Numerous Celebrities, Artists, and Professional Athletes

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 18, 2013) - Barnaby Jones NYC, a luxury men's accessories brand launched its "Everybody Wants a BJ" campaign on Kickstarter. Early prototypes of Barnaby Jones NYC bow ties have recently been seen on creative influencers and fashion icons alike throughout New York City. Barnaby Jones NYC has quickly established itself as a brand committed to authenticity in both its product and marketing. "Our brand is unapologetically raw and unfiltered. At the line between daring and offensive, we find our inspiration," said co-founder Sam Jones. The company engaged Manhattan-based agency A Higher Society to guide its branding and marketing strategy. "Barnaby Jones NYC goal of staying true to their ideals to drive authentic engagement with their target audience was a natural fit with A Higher Society's strengths as an agency," commented A Higher Society President, Lauren Friedman.

The campaign will fund full-scale production of the company's signature leather bow ties as well as the introduction of new product lines. Barnaby Jones NYC bow ties are made from the finest Italian leather and reflect the bold personalities of the company's principals, Kate Barnaby and Sam Jones.

The company is also committed to giving back and earlier this summer proudly created their Fit2bTied campaign. The ongoing campaign photographs New York City Artists at their place of work as a means to drive awareness of the Free Art NYC charity. Barnaby Jones NYC plans to contribute 5% of all profits from every bow tie sold to Free Arts NYC. Free Arts NYC provides under-served children and families with a unique combination of educational arts and mentoring programs that help them to foster the self-confidence and resiliency needed to realize their fullest potential.
