SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Mar 6, 2013) - Barona Resort & Casino has taken steps to make its players even more comfortable with the installation of new ergonomic chairs designed to provide players an even more enjoyable experience while having fun at the Happiest Casino on Earth. The new chairs have been positioned at each of Barona's 2,000 slot, video poker and video reel machines.
"Nearly 10 years ago, Barona was the first to take the initiative to design comfortable, ergonomic chairs for our players' comfort and now you find them in some of the casinos around the world," said Rick Salinas, general manager of Barona Resort & Casino. The chairs feature wider and deeper seats for superior comfort, complete with specially developed foam padding for additional support. The back rests have been redesigned with side bolsters for added back support. Full-coverage foot-rests surrounding the chair base along with upgraded upholstery reduce unwanted 'slide-outs.' With full-swivel capability and automatic return to original direction, guests will be able to get in or out with ease.
Weighing 70 pounds less than the previous chairs and being mounted on glides as opposed to rollers allows for easier and smoother positioning. Players will find convenient handles on the lower back side of the chairs for quick adjustments as well as a powered height adjustment lever under the ride side of the seat.
