Barrier Therapeutics to Present at UBS Global Pharmaceuticals Conference

PRINCETON, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 16, 2005 -- Barrier Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: BTRX), a pharmaceutical company developing and commercializing products in the field of dermatology, today announced that Dr. Geert Cauwenbergh, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Barrier Therapeutics, is scheduled to provide an update to the investment community on Barrier's marketed product and clinical-stage product pipeline at the UBS Global Pharmaceuticals Conference. The conference is being held from May 23-24, 2005 at the Grand Hyatt in New York. Dr. Cauwenbergh is scheduled to present on Monday, May 23rd at 4:30 pm, Eastern Time.
