Barry Malkin Joins C2 Reprographics as Senior Vice President & General Manager

COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwire - December 17, 2008) - Management and operations pro Barry Malkin has been hired by Costa Mesa-based C2 Reprographics as its senior vice president and general manager. He is in charge of operations at all four C2 locations in Orange and Los Angeles counties, handling sales and customer service issues, and overseeing the firm's sales efforts with company president and CEO Gary Crisp.

"Barry has a long career in management and entrepreneurship, which makes him eminently qualified for this important position," noted Crisp.

The Cal Poly Pomona alumnus began his career as a retail hardware store owner, then spent 10 years in commercial flooring contracting in Riverside County. He worked as a sales manager for healthcare insurance provider PacifiCare/Secure Horizons before discovering his knack for the printing industry. As a branch manager for Kinko's, he successfully turned around a large but unprofitable Laguna Hills location, winning company-wide recognition and moving up to become FedEx Kinko's Orange County district operations manager, where he was repeatedly recognized for high sales performance.

C2 Reprographics is the largest independent reprographics firm in Southern California, serving general business and the architecture, engineering and construction industries. Founded in 2002 by owners Gary and Julie Crisp, the company now has three Orange County locations and one in Los Angeles, with 105 employees. A 43-vehicle delivery fleet augments C2's online digital upload and delivery system. Among C2's ongoing charitable beneficiaries are Catholic educational institutions including Orange County's Mater Dei, JSerra and Santa Margarita high schools, the University of Southern California Athletic Board, Human Options, Camp Pendleton-based members of the United States Marine Corps serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the Uganda-based African Child Foundation, an independent non-governmental organization that helps educate disadvantaged and neglected children whose parents have died of HIV/AIDS.
