Barvista Announces Opening of New Custom Modular Model Home at Alpine Homes of Fort Collins

BERTHOUD, CO--(Marketwire - January 11, 2011) - Barvista, a leading Colorado custom modular home company, today announced the opening of a new custom modular model home at Alpine Homes of Fort Collins, Colorado -- located at 3619 East Mulberry Street. The new home, a three-bedroom two-bath cabin, was recently completed and is open for viewing. Known for its custom modular construction throughout the Rocky Mountain region, the model home is expected to increase Barvista's visibility across Colorado's northern Front Range and into southern Wyoming.

According to Tony Watson, CEO of Barvista Homes, the home is hitting the market at just the right time: "We couldn't be more excited about the home, the time frame, and the location. We want people to see that a modular home can be this efficient and cost effective, and still have the sort of quality and custom features that people are demanding."

Added Watson, "People understand that a custom modular home might be able to save them time and money, but do they know that the process itself can be inherently more green, and that you can get this type of quality? We think it's important that they see to believe."

The home is a single-story ranch designed home with approximately 1612 square feet. The home includes custom construction features such as:

  • Cathedral ceilings with tongue and groove pine
  • Transverse cathedral ceiling gable with trapezoid windows
  • Wall of windows with full cathedral trapezoid windows
  • Tile Countertops (standard)
  • Raised bar island
  • Light Skip Trowel Drywall Finish (standard)
  • Tile surround showers and tub-showers (standard)
  • Tile tub deck and drop in tub
  • Engineered web truss floors (standard)
  • Hickory Cabinets
  • Elevated "cityscape" style overhead cabinet configuration
