The Bas-St-Laurent Region Selects MediSolution for the Upgrade and Standardization of its Patient Management Systems

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 7, 2005) - MediSolution (TSX:MSH) announced today that the Bas-St-Laurent Region will implement MediSolution's Patient Management Systems (MediPatient® and MediVisit® that deliver an integrated hospital patient index (CPI), an admission, discharge and transfer (ADT) solution as well as a centralized patient scheduling solution. The solution will be implemented in eight institutions throughout the region over the next five months. The upgrade contract will include $0.8 million in software licensing and professional services revenue.

MediPatient/MediVisit is a Patient administration suite that integrates Indexing, ADT, registration, planning, delivery and documentation of the patient and its medical record pathway in a cost effective manner. MediPatient/MediVisit will be used by the Bas-St-Laurent region as a base regional platform that will interface with the future Ministry of Health and Infoway Canada "Patient identification architecture" and the Quebec Electronic Health record.
