(Bass Underwriters) has signed an agreement to license ClarionDoor's Cloud Rater, which now supports ISO rating content via ISO Electronic Rating Content (ERC).
Bass Underwriters, one of the largest property and casualty (P&C) MGAs in the U.S. by premium, selected the ClarionDoor's Cloud Rater to further empower underwriters with a high-performance rating solution that provides access to ISO ERC in an easy-to-use, web-based quoting platform. Utilizing ISO ERC, ClarionDoor will seamlessly provide Bass Underwriters with future ISO rating updates.

As noted, once integrated with ClarionDoor's Cloud Rater, Bass Underwriters' existing portal, Bass On-line, will function as the user interface (UI) for underwriters utilizing the rates, rules, algorithms, and an ACORD XML web service for ISO general liability which this new black box rating solution provides.
