Batman v Superman Turkish Airlines Product Placement by A List Entertainment, Inc.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA --(Marketwired - April 03, 2016) -  A leading pioneer with 20 years in the field of product placement and branded integration, Marsha R. Levine is again recognized for her skill in initiating a lynchpin product placement and tie-in to Hollywood Warner Bros. property, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," for Turkish Airlines.

More than 10 billion impressions for her clients are credited to Levine, through brand and product placement.

"There is an art to curating a product placement," says Levine. "It takes a certain skill to match a brand seamlessly with a film or television show. Success is achieved when there is an understanding of the filmmaker's sensibility of the production, the feel and emotion of characterization, and then matching a brand with a similar demographic and value."

While the founder and CEO of A List Entertainment, Inc. has previously secured successful airline placements in Hollywood films, the Turkish Airlines placement marks the first product placement in a major motion picture for Turkish Airlines and extends Turkish Airlines' global reach into the U.S. market. "Turkish Airlines is one of the largest tie-ins to date in the film industry, spanning multiple mediums, and WB films," added Levine.

Levine has curated placements for well-known brands in:

  • Spiderman 2 & 3 (Sony)
  • The Matrix (Warner Bros.)
  • The Client (Warner Bros.)
  • The Pelican Brief (Warner Bros.)
  • The Departed (Warner Bros.)
  • Fast & Furious franchise (Universal)
  • Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn 1 (Summit Entertainment)

Levine's latest placement is Swiss Airlines in Sony's upcoming, "Inferno," starring Tom Hanks, to be released late 2016.

"Batman v Superman" filmmaker Zack Snyder expressed praise for Turkish Airlines' representation in the film. "Once you enter a fantastical world like Batman v Superman and then you bring in a real world company like Turkish Airlines, you set the world as real, and that's what I was inspired by as a filmmaker."

Turkish Airlines has been featured in two Super Bowl ads for the film, along with a featurette in addition to film placement and licensing, all stemming from the initial product placement. Levine credits her timing in presenting and submitting the letter of intent for the placement that allowed the partnership to develop before another airline offer closed that would have been exclusive to that category.
