Building upon decades of research and development in cyber security and intelligence innovations, Battelle will work closely with the bank's security analysts to identify and assess online and location-based threats and risks. The organization will have access to Battelle's highly skilled and experienced intelligence analysts, including native-language linguists able to provide timely and accurate evaluation of threats around the world. The announcement comes after a 2-month pilot project with Battelle, the world's largest independent research and development organization.

Battelle's threat assessment service is tailored to address the unique needs of the clients. Battelle will help develop a broader picture of threats, from physical and social climate risks to the impact on operations due to localized, power outages, to attempted infiltration of networks and facilities.
