At Pinot Days, the winemakers and winery owners do the pouring, creating a uniquely engaging experience where wine enthusiasts can interact, ask questions and learn the stories behind what goes into making great pinot noir.

According to Pinot Days Founder Steve Rigisich the expansion into Los Angeles has been an enormous success. "Last year's inaugural event was a sell-out, which is testimony to the fact that Los Angeles loves pinot noir," he said. "LA's tireless pursuit of innovation in food and wine make it ripe ground for an event featuring pinot noir, which is an incredibly unique and versatile grape, drawing the most inventive and passionate winemakers on the planet."

Pinot Days Los Angeles wine events include a hosted Winemakers "Table Hop" Dinner where wine lovers can enjoy an incredible pinot-paired dinner featuring 10 notable pinot noir producers in an intimate gathering with the gifted winemakers who produce them. The Winemakers "Table Hop" dinner will take place on January 13 Wine House Upstairs. Other pinot and food pairing events will take place at West Restaurant at Hotel Angeleno and Wine House, and smaller tastings will be held at retailers such as K&L, Wine House and Wine Gallery. Visit www.pinotdays.com for event details.

In addition, Pinot Days raises monies to support one IOCC charity each year. This year's Pinot Days Charity Auction Beneficiary is Ethiopia's HIV Victim Food Relief Effort, an organization that provides food to victims of HIV so that they can take the necessary medications to counter the disease. 92% of the monies raised for this cause will go directly to providing food to people in the greatest need. Pinot Days has raised over $97K to date for various beneficiaries.
