Bayard Canada and Hachette Canada Have Signed a Sales and Distribution Agreement for French Books for Young People Published by Editions Bayard Canada

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - May 17, 2016) - Bayard Canada is pleased to announce that as of July 1, 2016, the sales and distribution of French books for young people published by Éditions Bayard Canada will be carried out by Hachette Canada and its exclusive distribution partner, Socadis.

For several years, Bayard Canada has performed a triple role: publisher, marketer and distributor of Bayard Jeunesse products under its main brand, Bayard Canada Livres. Carrying out all three roles is challenging at all levels, requiring excellence in terms of content, commercial activities and logistics.

In a changing and evolving market, Bayard Canada must build on its good health and plan for its future.
