Baymount Selects Paul Kurtz as Racetrack Designer For Quinte Raceway Development

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 14, 2006) - Baymount Incorporated ("Baymount")(TSX VENTURE:BYM) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary Belleville Racetrack Development Corporation (BRDC) has selected Paul Kurtz as Racetrack Designer for the New Quinte Raceway.

For over 40 years Mr. Kurtz has been involved in raising, training, and racing Standardbred horses in Canada. A professional engineer and widely regarded as the premier Canadian Standardbred racetrack designer, Mr. Kurtz's credits include the design of Flamboro Downs and Grand River Raceway, the reconstruction of the racetracks at Elmira Raceway and Orangeville Raceway, as well as the design of four other prominent Canadian racetracks. Mr. Kurtz has also designed and participated in the construction of more than 25 training tracks in Ontario.

As in his Flamboro Downs design, the first track in North America with superelevated turns, Mr. Kurtz intends to feature leading edge techniques in the design and construction of the state of the art New Quinte Raceway track. Mr. Kurtz stated that "the New Quinte Raceway will have a half mile racetrack designed with features to enhance spectator stimulation by providing an unobstructed grandstand view of the whole race".

Further, Mr. Kurtz states that the track will be constructed with "expanded, configured, and elevated turns to assist the horses' movements into, around, and through the turns" as well as a host of leading edge safety components.

Graham Simmonds, President and Chief Executive Officer of Baymount stated that "It was very important to Baymount that we select a track designer with the highest possible standards, an impeccable reputation, and the most pertinent experience. Mr. Kurtz is second to none in each of these respects, and we are very excited to have the benefit of his expertise at the New Quinte Raceway".

The New Quinte Raceway will be constructed on BRDC's Belleville property which is located on Bell Boulevard near the Wallbridge-Loyalist Road and Highway 401 interchange. The planned 75 acre development will feature a 35,000 square foot clubhouse and gaming facility and an expandable 60,000 square foot shared paddock and exhibition building that will host the Belleville Agricultural Society.

BRDC also owns an additional 63 acres of future commercial development land adjacent to the new QER development with ten of these acres bordering Highway 401. The company is currently evaluating potential development opportunities for these lands.
