Baynote Joins Omniture Genesis Network to Optimize the Web Experience Through Community-Guided Recommendations

Baynote to Become Omniture Genesis Partner as Companies Combine Product and Content Recommendations With Web Analytics to Increase Revenues and Improve Customer Experience

OREM, UT and CUPERTINO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 2, 2007 -- Omniture, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimization software, and Baynote, the leader in content guidance software for the business web, today announced a strategic partnership that will integrate Baynote's Content Guidance platform with Omniture SiteCatalyst®. The technology integration will help customers increase the effectiveness of their online commerce, marketing and support initiatives by providing real-time product and content recommendations as well as social search results for Web site visitors. Customers including LSI, Network Appliance, and others are already realizing the benefits of using Omniture SiteCatalyst and Baynote Content Guidance together.

Baynote plans to become an accredited Omniture Genesis partner by the end of June 2007. Genesis is Omniture's "plug and play" solution that automates the integration of marketing applications in the Omniture Online Business Optimization platform. Becoming an accredited Genesis partner will make it easy for customers to quickly integrate Baynote's Content Guidance platform with Omniture's Online Business Optimization platform and quickly realize higher conversion rates for their online business.

Many businesses today engage in a manually intensive process of merchandizing products and recommending content throughout a site. This manual approach is time-consuming and falls far short of a business' potential to recommend specific products and content to thousands of unique visitor segments that visit Web sites every day. The combined content guidance and Web analytics solution offered by Baynote and Omniture will provide online marketers with a more dynamic way of gaining higher conversion rates and satisfaction among online customers.

Using the integrated Omniture-Baynote solution to understand the unique set of behaviors that drive purchase and satisfaction, online marketers can identify a virtually unlimited number of visitor segments for each specific site and fully automate the process of displaying the best products and services to visitors in real-time to that customer's site. Because Omniture and Baynote provide an on-demand solution, online businesses can deploy and begin generating increased revenue and lead flow within days.

"Online businesses will now be able to realize the true potential of The Long Tail across eCommerce, eMarketing, and eSupport realms to make their businesses more profitable and efficient," said Jack Jia, Baynote co-founder and CEO. "By enabling like-minded visitors to implicitly recommend products and content, while delivering complete visibility for Website managers, companies will fundamentally change the way business is done on the Web."

"Many successful online businesses have already found a great deal of value in using the combined Omniture-Baynote solution, and formalizing our technology partnership will make it even easier for customers to use our product offering and see immediate impact for their business," said Josh James, CEO and co-founder of Omniture. "We look forward to offering Baynote's Content Guidance to our customers through the Genesis Network which will help them gain greater insight into their customer segments and drive higher revenue through our combined offering."
