Bayou City Exploration Announces Addition of Key Personnel

HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 29, 2006 -- Bayou City Exploration, Inc. ("Bayou City") ("the Company") (OTCBB: BYCX) announced the addition of Key Personnel Today.

Bayou City named James G. Brown as Drilling and Production Manager effective December 1, 2006. Mr. Brown brings twenty-nine years experience with a comprehensive background in all aspects of drilling, completion, production, workover operations, and petrophysical evaluations. Mr. Brown is regarded as a key advisor by senior management, with the ability to integrate engineering into profitable business concepts.

James (Jim) Brown will be responsible for supervising and monitoring daily production operations and drilling activities in Texas and Louisiana.

Mr. Brown has been key to the operations of such companies as Schlumberger, Texas Independent Exploration, and Halliburton. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Houston, and numerous certificates for special fields of study.

The Company believes Mr. Brown will be a valuable asset in the area of managing Bayou City Drilling, Completion and Production Operations.
