Bayshore Networks Integrates Flagship SingleKey™ Layer 7 Information Assurance Firewall With BAE Systems STOP OS™

Offering Unprecedented Security and Access Control Flexibility, the Integrated Offering Is Slated for Generally Availability in Q3 2012

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Feb 23, 2012) - Bayshore Networks, the leading provider of high-end information assurance and security products, today announced its flagship SingleKey™ Layer 7 information assurance firewall is integrated with BAE Systems STOP OS™. STOP OS™, the only general-purpose operating system built from the ground up with security as its core focus, gives the defense and intelligence communities, government, and critical infrastructure sectors stronger security. Currently piloted by select organizations, the integration is slated for general availability in Q3 2012. Senior executives from both companies will be available to comment the integration at RSA Conference 2012 next week in San Francisco.

SingleKey™ leverages patent-pending heuristic baselining, behavior-based analytics and highly-granular SingleKey™ Policy Language (SPL) to detect anomalous behavior in real time. Detected anomalies are often indicative of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attacks in progress. When operating as an inline firewall, SingleKey™ can provide mandatory (blocking) or advisory (non-blocking) enforcement of SPL rules, as well as alerting, logging and reporting. The enforcement mode is highly flexible and can be set on a per-rule and per-flow basis. When operating out-of-band, SingleKey™ provides advisory enforcement, alerting, logging and reporting.

BAE Systems STOP OS™ is the premier secure operating system, providing flexible security policies, a Linux®-compatible application programming interface, and FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic modules, as well as Common Criteria EAL4+ certification covering the entire OS kernel, unlike other evaluated operating systems. With the release of STOP OS™ version 7, processing and network performance is now at parity with commodity operating systems without sacrificing strong security.
