Bazis International: Free Flapjacks Held to Ward Off Cold For 1 Bloor Condominium Buyers

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 12, 2007) -

The line ups bring back memories of the 60s when teens slept on the sidewalk outside the arena for days hoping to buy a ticket to see The Beatles.

This time around, however, the scores of folk camped out at Yonge and Bloor are looking for a chance to snap up condominium suites in 1 Bloor, the stunning, signature 80-storey tower being built on the site by Bazis International.

They are not teenagers; they are adults - real estate agents and brokers or their representatives eager to reserve suites for their clients. They started lining up last Monday for an 8-day-long wait before the sales office officially opens Tuesday, November 13 at 6 p.m.

To celebrate their astonishing vigil and to provide a bit of comfort from the November chill, Bazis will be serving them all pancakes between 8 and 8.30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

"It will be partly a celebration meaning the end to their long wait is in sight and partly a thank you from us for their astonishing patience and support," says Veronika Belovich, Bazis director of sales and marketing. "We want to mark the occasion with a street side breakfast party in the heart of Toronto."

The flapjack breakfast is just one of the ways Bazis has shown its concern. Twice daily the company has handed out steaming coffee and tummy filling muffins and installed heaters along the sidewalk to keep them warm.

WHEN: 8 to 8.30 a.m., Tuesday, November 13
WHERE: The southeast corner of Yonge and Bloor
WHAT: A free flapjack breakfast for 1 Bloor buyers
