The BBC's Last Night of the Proms 2010-Live via Satellite From London, England at Cineplex Entertainment Theatres

On Saturday, September 11th, the powerful finale of The 2010 BBC Proms season will be broadcast LIVE via satellite from the Royal Albert Hall in London, England to select Cineplex theatres across the country at 11:30 am PT /12:30 MT / 1:30 pm CT / 2:30 pm ET. Presented in Canada by Cineplex Entertainment's Front Row Centre Events and New York based distributor, BY Experience, under exclusive license from BBC Worldwide, The BBC Last Night of the Proms is one of the most famous music events in the world, enjoyed by millions around the globe.

This year, tradition meets high jinks as Jirí Belohlávek conducts his second Last Night. Renée Fleming lends her lustrous soprano to music by Strauss, Dvorák and Smetana. Former BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist Maxim Rysanov gives Tchaikovsky's popular cello variations a new voice and loyal Prommers can spot the last traces of the season's Wood, Parry, Wagner, Rodgers and Hammerstein and opera themes.

Advance tickets are now available online at as well as at participating theatre box offices. Admission for seniors and children ages 3 – 13 is $17.95 and general admission is $19.95.

The BBC Last Night of the Proms Schedule

A festive new piece by Jonathan Dove opens the evening; a contemporary hornpipe forms an upbeat celebration to anniversary composer Arne's Rule, Britannia!; and audiences around the UK can join the Royal Albert Hall crowd in singing along to excerpts from Lohengrin and Carousel in a climax to the BBC's opera season.
