B.C. Hits the Jackpot in Last Night's Lotto Max Draw


VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Nov. 2, 2013) - British Columbians should be checking their Lotto Max tickets today. A ticket worth $25 million was sold in Victoria for last night's Lotto Max Draw.

The November 1, 2013, Lotto Max draw featured a $50 million jackpot, which was split between the Victoria ticket and another sold on the prairies.

Two other big winners were sold in B.C.: a ticket sold in in the Powell River/Sunshine Coast region won a Maxmillion prize of $1 million; and, a ticket sold in Vancouver matched 6 out of 7 numbers plus the bonus, for a $316,336 prize.

Ticket holders have 52 weeks to claim their prize.

The last time a $25 million Lotto Max jackpot was won in B.C. was in November 2012.

LOTTO MAX can be played at all lottery retail locations and online at PlayNow.com, with tickets available until 6 p.m. (PT) on Friday.
