VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - March 19, 2014) - It promises to be a marketing play date you don't want to miss. The BC chapter of the American Marketing Association (BCAMA) has today revealed the details of its 25th VISION Conference. The much-anticipated annual conference will be held on Wednesday, May 14 and will focus on the concept of PLAY. Playful keynotes include a chief troublemaker from Procter & Gamble and a native advertising genius from Songza.
The interactive event will explore how successful brands tap into the human instinct to play, and experts will bring discussions to life through real brand insights and case studies. Twenty-five industry leaders will take part in the all-day event, representing top brands including Red Bull, Cardinal Path, Herschel Supply, Steam Whistle and Shane Gibson. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in a roundtable series where there will be six rotations of 15 minutes covering up to 20 current marketing topics.
With an exhibitors' playground, new technology, innovation workshops and cocktails galore, it's an event you don't want to miss.
"This is an incredibly exciting time for marketers, so we want to reflect the opportunities we need to be embracing through a playful theme," says BCAMA President Sarah Finstad. "We decided to take a disruptive approach to the standard marketing conference to make it unexpected, entertaining and interactive. Within this kind of environment - where speakers push boundaries, give more tailored feedback and truly explore the future of our industry - attendees will really be able to see the value."
