BCBusiness Steps It Up with a Multi-Platform Redesign

BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 1, 2013) - Tom Gierasimczuk, VP of Editorial for Canada Wide Media, is pleased to announce a multi-platform redesign for BC's most prestigious business brand, BCBusiness.

With BCBusiness turning 40 this year and Gierasimczuk leading the charge, the brand has undergone a complete makeover. "BCBusiness is now much more than just a magazine," says Gierasimczuk. "It has been completely re-mastered into a daily newsroom to deliver the day's most important business news to entrepreneurs and business leaders across the province through print, web, tablet and smartphone platforms."

Behind the new multi-platform format is a digital first publishing mentality. "We've introduced a number of exciting new features to BCBusiness that allow us to reach readers wherever they are, however they want," says Gierasimczuk. "The redesign includes a daily newsletter of the day's top business stories, a sophisticated responsive website that looks seamlessly beautiful on a desktop, tablet or smartphone browser, a reimagined magazine designed by award-winning art director duo, Cathy Mullaly and Ben Oliver, and an exquisite new iPad edition that takes contemporary consumption of BCBusiness magazine to a whole new level."

Starting May 2013, subscribers to BCBusiness will be granted an all-access pass to enjoy BCBusiness anyway they want - in print, on the web and/or on their iPad.
